Homeschool Minis

I began homeschooling my son Granger this year, and it has been an absolute blast! I had photographed my friend Amanda’s family, and she also homeschools. When talking about what she wanted out of the session, she mentioned “school like” pictures. That got me thinking when I started homeschooling, that maybe other families wanted the same thing, but maybe didn’t schedule family pictures every year! So, I reached out in my regional Facebook group and asked if there would be interest, and there was! These sessions were an absolute blast! I had just a few minutes to get to know each family and child, and they were all so incredibly nice! I pray I can make these a yearly (if not twice yearly or however you say that :P) event! Such fun memories, and such beautiful kiddos! Enjoy my favorites from most of the sessions! (:

P.S. I love how you can see a glimpse into each child and their personality! That’s one of my favorite parts about doing individual photography—what backgrounds they like, their choice of clothes, etc! I just love getting to know people, especially kids with me having taught for 4 years before staying home with Granger! (:
