Devan // Senior 2024

OH MY GOSH. GUYS, I have been dying to do piano pictures on a stage for I don’t know how long, and that dream finally came true when Devan mentioned that he wanted to do exactly that for his senior pictures!!! He has been playing piano for ten years! And let me tell you, as a musician, I absolutely could listen to piano music forever—but when he plays, you just FEEL the emotion. It is absolutely beautiful!

I went for two different moods/vibes when shooting them—my normal, bright tone, as well as some recital/performance mode ones! I really love both of them for soooo many different reasons! But I could go on forever about how awesome this session was…I’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves!

But seriously, please scroll all the way to the end, because I saved the best for last! Golden hour was SO good to us at the second part of his senior session!!

P.S. What about that golden hour, huh?! So beyond good. Anyways, my cool fact from this session is actually about the bridge pictures halfway up! Devan and his family lived very close to this bridge when he was younger. I normally bring seniors to this specific bridge because it is such a good backdrop for pictures, but when he mentioned it was special to him because they used to take walks on this bridge so often as a family, well…I’m not crying, you’re crying. :’)

Seriously though—such an honor to capture such a precious moment in a teenagers’ life! Devan, I hope you love these photos as much as I do!
