I am absolutely in love with this session! Sarah and I met at our annual women’s retreat for church and related sadly because of our husband’s emergency surgeries within a few weeks of each other (last year). We quickly bonded and started getting to know each other, so I was super excited when she asked me to do family photos!

Her son Tyler, LOVES trains! I didn’t know that when I sent her the photos of this location, and so it was so special to take pictures here! He was telling me so many things about the trains and I just thought it was so cool he was sharing a passion of his with me!

And Nora and that hat?! Just make sure you scroll to the end, but not too quick you miss the photos in the middle—too many good ones it’s so hard to pick a favorite!

Please, if you have passions that I can photograph—tell me about them! Love hats? Wear one! Love trains like Tyler? Let’s take pictures on the train tracks! I did a wedding a couple years ago on an airstrip because she was a pilot and he was an airplane mechanic! I love when people’s personalities shine through in their photos! It’s one of my favorite things!
